Merry Christmas!

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17 For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved.

What else can I add, but
Blessed Be the Name of the Lord!

Pray for life

Just because our efforts have failed in the noble attempt to pass pro-life legislation in our state does not mean that the fight is lost, or even stalled. Every 22 seconds an unborn baby dies. About 3700 every day. Some mothers are being deceived and pressured into it. Hopelessness, fear, ignorance, selfishness... What ever the cause, lives are being lost. We must not hold back.

A hot hearted passion for God will seem over-done, even inappropriate to the half-hearted.

Please, Please, Please do not forget to pray! "The fervent, effective prayer of a righteous man availeth much." Please commit to pray daily with me; the site below has a list of 40 petitions to offer up to our Heavenly Father, leading up to Jan. 22; the day in 1973 when abortion was legalized.

Suffering Saints

Please pray for the Christians in Iraq and other countries. We live in amazing safety and it is easy to forget that many Brothers and Sisters around the world are in constant peril. Many are kidnapped, imprisoned, beaten, robbed, separated, and killed daily.

Pray for their safety, but do not forget to pray for their faith, and that their testimony would be bold and effective.

I have heard many times that in places where persecution is the hottest, faith is the deepest, and against all odds, God's Church flourishes.
